According to the label, the dosages for these ingredients are:
- Magnesium – 300 mg
- EGCG – 400 mg
- L-Theanine – 250 mg
- 5-HTP – 175 mg
- Ashwagandha – 100 mg
- Melatonin – 5 mg
Overall, we found that Bedtime Burn contained more ingredients having to do with sleep aid than fat burning. With only Green Tea extract as the main fat burner, it doesn’t seem like it will be an effective fat burner.
If you are interested in Bedtime Burn for its sleep aid benefits, we would recommend this product. However, as a fat burner, we suggest you look somewhere else.
Magnesium
Magnesium is an essential dietary mineral that is often deficient from people’s bodies.
It has no reported signs of inducing weight loss but it is beneficial to have to maintain healthy magnesium levels.
If magnesium levels get too low, it will raise your blood pressure and reduce insulin sensitivity.
While it isn’t a key component to weight loss or sleep aid, it’s a key dietary mineral to have to replenish your magnesium levels.
Epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG) from Green Tea Leaf Extract
This is a special green tea catechin that is found in Green Tea Leaf Extract.
Green tea catechins are known to be effective in promoting weight loss by boosting your metabolism and increasing fat cell breakdown.
Specifically, EGCG prevents an enzyme in your body from breaking down a crucial fat-burning hormone, norepinephrine.
With EGCG, it can boost the amount of norepinephrine in your body and promote fat breakdown, leading to fat loss.
This is a great ingredient to have in Bedtime Burn as it will aid in fat loss by increasing beneficial hormones that help fat breakdown.
L-Theanine
L-Theanine is an amino acid commonly found in green tea.
Studies have shown that it is a relaxing agent without the side effect of drowsiness.

There appear to be strong reports of 5-HTP being fairly effective in suppressing appetite and reducing food intake. It is also noted that 5-HTP has been able to curb carbohydrate cravings as well.
Not only that, studies suggest that it has been able to decrease the amount of time required to fall asleep.
This is a great ingredient to have for Bedtime Burn as it has qualities to help weight loss as an appetite suppressant and sleep aid benefits.
Ashwagandha
Known scientifically as Withania somnifera, Ashwagandha is an herb traditionally used in the Ayurveda branch of Indian medicine.
It has been suggested that Ashwagandha can reduce insomnia, fatigue, stress, anxiety, and symptoms of depression. However, further research is required to support these claims.
This could be a good ingredient for sleep aid benefits in Bedtime Burn but limited studies can’t fully vouch for its effectiveness.
Melatonin
Melatonin is a well-known sleep-regulating hormone in the brain that works to decrease the amount of time it takes to fall asleep.
Increasing intake of melatonin is safe as your body will produce less of the hormone to balance it out. It can also help normalize sleep habits and improve mood.
There is strong evidence to support melatonin’s sleep aid benefits. However, taking melatonin at any other time in the day could cause drowsiness which is questionable in an every day supplement.

Some clarity may be needed by Dr. Emil over the servings. That said, we imagine you’ll be taking Dr. Emil’s Bedtime Burn an hour before bed.

Dr. Emil’s Bedtime Burn has some good ingredients, but it mainly seems to target a good night’s sleep, rather than effective fat loss.
It’s mainly the Green Tea that will be doing the work here. We feel this supplement would be much more effective with additional fat burners like Cayenne Pepper, Green Coffee Bean and an appetite suppressant like Glucomannan.
If you’re more interested in Bedtime Burn for it’s sleep inducing properties, this may be the option for you. However, if you’re looking for more effective results on your waistline – you may need to look elsewhere.
